| Before you can create a bow, you'll need to gather the materials (Here is a link to all the different wood-bearing trees). So, equip your saw as shown below.  After double clicking your tree, your Battle Text box should look something like this.  When the blue bar is filled, you will be told whether or not you've successfully chopped wood.  So, now that you've got your lumber, you'll need the wool for the bowstring. First, equip your sheep shears as shown below.  Then, find some sheep. Good locations are south of Binxonia, north of Plymouth Wharf and south of Underleaf. Double click the sheep, then check you Battle Text box. It should resemble this.  After the blue bar fills up, you'll be told whether you've gotten wool, or just scared the sheep. Now that you have all the ingredients, you're ready to bake a wonderful bow cake. First, equip your Carving Tool as shown below.  So, find a Bowyer table  (near the Binxonia and Plymouth Wharf banks) and click it, to bring up this menu. First, select which bow you'd like to make (red circle), then which wood to make it of (orange circle). At the bottom (blue circle), you're told how much wood is required to make whatever it is that you're making. Unlike smithing skills, you do not need equal amounts of Oak and Pine to make an Oak item. Same with other woods. Also a helpful note, all bows require 3 wool to craft. The wand requires none. After clicking the Create button, your Battle Text box should resemble this.  After the blue bar fills up, you'll be told whether or not you've created the bow, and what quality it is, if you have. |
